Pretty sure I've read them all now. I did try to read them in order. I like her (their) work. There's a plot, of course they fall in love. I mean it is romance after all. The phrases seem accurate and authentic for the time period. It is best to read them in order. I love the lineage of the families they bring into their work. There's some sex, not much. If I remember correctly they could be easily skipped if that is offensive to the reader. Most of their writing focuses on things other than sex. I like the way they paint the attire of the people so the characters feel real. They aren't always in their finest clothing and the use of their descriptives helps to set an image of simple dress when that would be normal. I think their books all focus on the interpersonal relationships within the family and sometimes the breakdowns within the families. I suggest reading all of the May McGoldrick books!

Good Book. Enjoyed reading
Very good series, I've enjoyed everything written by this author!
I have read this book in record time. I found myself drawn into the period and the love story! Plan to read book 3 tomorrow as I can't wait to have all 3 sisters together, learn about Adrianne's love life and lastly find out what the treasure is??? Also the mother of these intelligent young woman has to be a great story all by herself.
Well written, with some mystery, the Enchantress is a great book two in the trilogy. The characters are likable and the story moves along easily. Not sure if the historical facts are accurate, but it does put you back in time to the 16th century. Would recommend after reading book one.
After reading the first of the three books, I was hooked. I have many of this author's books and I LOVE how she includes characters from past books in with the stories. I will be adding more of her books to my library, and being an avid reader, there's no doubt I will reread some of her titles. I love the history, I love the setting, I love the mystery of this trilogy. Definitely worth the time and money!!
Introduced to this author when I got a Scottish Starter set of 3 novels for free. The Dreamer was one of them. I got so wrapped up in the story of the Percy sisters in the Highlands, had to purchase The Enchantress to continue the saga of their family. The interaction between Laura Percy and William Ross made me anxious, angry and them chuckling! Going to buy The Firebrand to finish this series.
Another great read in this series! Love seeing characters from previous books in this series and how it introduces new characters for upcoming books in this series. William and Laura fight obstacles from their past to find true love. This story is filled with adventure, secrets, learning to trust, and learning to love. Highly recommend!
