I was a bit surprised by this book, I had hoped for more. While a nice easy read, there is little depth. I was hopeful that the plot would deepen, but most of the action is this personal issue the main character has with choosing the right guy. Has potential but the main character development is poor. Hopefully the future will be better.

It is a super quick read and I believe that Twilight fans would enjoy this. The wicked however leads to fast paced character developing. It tends to be very predictable too.
LOVED IT! CANT WAIT FOR THE SECOND BOOK! MY FAV CHARACTER WAS CHANCE, THERES JUST SOMETHING ABOUT VARUN THAT I DONT LIKE.

This is a must have for any avid reader. Kailin Gow has done an amazing job at creating the intriguing world and life of Mackenzie Evers. Truly recommended.
I'm going to copy and paste what I wrote about the third book, because it goes for this book too; A story that captures the reader from beginning to end, and leaves the reader craving for more. If you like love stories with a touch of magic in a magical world, then this book is for you.
Bought this for work and the kids fell in love with I...they all fight over it. Good bodkin for youth
